TRIP TO HEIDE PARK AMUSEMENT PARK / SOLTAU, GERMANY

The highest and fastest roller coaster in the park is Collossos, which in 2003 was entered into the Guinness Book of Records as the wooden coaster with the largest first drop angle (61°). "Scream" - the world's highest Gyro-Drop-Tower (73m). The fastest roller coaster is "Desert Race", which has a hydraulic drive. The first roller coaster in Germany starting from a catapult. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds. In addition to all kinds of carousels and trains, there are charming places such as the Dutch quarter, which is an oasis of peace, built in the tradition of the 19th century. There are also gardens here that surprise with their arrangement that allows you to relax and unwind. A place worth visiting is the Village of Heide, which is a jewel of old craftsmanship.

New in 2018 - The first Peppa Pig world in Germany will be created in Heide-Park - Pepa Pig World - a completely new zone for children. A total of 6 attractions will be created tailored to the needs and interests of preschool children, including:

  • A ride on the back of Mr. Dinosaur (animation fans know perfectly well that this is George's favorite toy - Peppa Pig's younger brother)
  • Peppa Pig's Grandpa's Train Ride
  • Boat ride

ACCESS

The shortest route is via Międzyzdroje, then a ferry crossing on the Karsibór ferry in Świnoujście to Uznam Island. Then we head for the A20 to Lübeck and Hamburg (approx. 490 km). The second longer route, although shorter in time, leads via the S3 to Szczecin, and then the A24 to Hamburg (route approx. 590 km).

ADDITIONA INFORMATIONS

A valid passport or ID card is required for tour participants regardless of age.

You can buy tickets online: https://www.heide-park.de/en/tickets-passes/. Tickets are much cheaper by up to 28% when purchased online. The ticket is valid all day for all attractions in the park. The ticket does not entitle you to use arcade games or photography services, does not entitle you to take part in special events and parties, and there is no guarantee of good weather (Schön-Wetter-Garantie).
